After the police shootings in Pittsburgh two weeks ago, people were being asked to place a blue light in their window in a show of support for the fallen officers.
My neighbor, who has a lovely water fountain in his yard, took it one step further by tinting the water in his fountain blue. At night, he has it lit up, which makes it even more beautiful and touching to see. I couldn't get my camera to take a decent night shot of it, but trust me, it's moving to see it all lit up.
I thought he deserved a little recognition for this, because it was truly a wonderful show of support for his fellow officers.
