Malls, new shoes and old hats.....

Here's Connor, reading a letter from Grandma Berg. It arrived with a package she sent to help him feel better after his adenoidectomy last week. Yes, poor Connor had to have them out. Again. The darn things grew back. Hopefully they'll stay gone this time. He read Grandma Berg's letter over and over again. And he insisted on wearing his new Cars shoes while he did it. More on that later. :)

Here is a toy farm Grandma Berg sent in her care package to Connor. He played with it nonstop for quite awhile.

Here's a close-up on those new shoes of his I mentioned earlier. He needed a pair of sandals, and Payless was having BOGO today. I needed new dress shoes to go with my black suit for work, so I got my shoes, and he got his. Now, he insists on wearing them all through the house.

Also inside Grandma Berg's care package were three hats that belonged to Isaak's brother, Robin. Connor picked the red one, which is a hat for the Calgary Stampeders (the Canadian Football League team there in Calgary). Connor is now running through the house, wearing his new shoes and Uncle Robin's old hat. I think if Uncle Robin could see him now, he'd be smiling.
